Account Creation & Sign-In

This article explains how to create and sign in to the account required to use the XYN Spatial capture solution applications.

*How to create a Google or Microsoft account with a corporate email address

Registering User Information

  1. On the XYN application sign-in page, select “Create account.”
      
  2. Enter the user information required to create your XYN account.
    *For the email address, enter one that you can use.
    *If you plan to purchase a license, please provide your sales representative with the name, company name, and email address entered on this page.



Email Verification

A verification code will be sent to the email address you entered in the user information.
Check your email and enter the code you received.

*If you do not receive the verification code by email, please check your spam folder.

Selecting the online account to use for sign-in

 

This service uses Single Sign-On (SSO) for sign-in.

You can choose from your Sony*1, Google*2, or Microsoft*2 account. These accounts must be created and owned in advance. For use from a corporate network environment, we recommend signing in with a Google or Microsoft account.

This section explains the procedure when “Create with another ID” is selected.


Select the Google or Microsoft account service you will use for sign-in.



Sign in to the online account

 

Sign in to your online account. Enter or select the email address you use to sign in with your Google or Microsoft account.

*For Microsoft,
select your Microsoft account address and then select “Agree.”

Two-step verification

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete two-step verification.
*A verification code will be sent to the email address you selected in Step 4.

The selected account email address will be pre-filled. Select “Send verification code.”*


Enter the verification code.



Select “Continue.”


 

XYN Account Creation Complete

Your XYN account has been created. Please note that the service will not be available for immediate use after creation. We will send you a notification as soon as the service is activated, so please wait until you receive it.


How-to create a Google Account using an existing e-mail

  1. Go to https://google.com/accounts/NewAccount  in your Web browser.

     

  2. Fill in your details

     

  3. Click “Use my current email address instead” as indicated below

     

  4. Type in your company’s email address in the “Your current email address:” field.

     

  5. Type in a password for your Google account. This must be at least eight characters in length and should include a mixture of letters and numbers. Re-enter this password in the “Re-enter password:” field.

     

  6. Select your location by clicking the drop-down menu next to “Location.”

     

  7. Follow the verification process

     

  8. Click the “I accept. Create my account” button at the bottom of the page to create your Google account with a company email address.

    *Note: While creating, you might get an email related to the OTP, to your Sony Email account. Please enter the OTP when promoted
