Sony exhibited at the NAB (National Associations of Broadcasters) Show 2025, an international broadcast equipment exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA from April 6 to 9, 2025 local time, under the theme of the exhibition was "Creativity Connected (Creativity Connected).
XYN™ exhibited 3DCG asset generation using the α9 Ⅲ Global Shutter of the α™ digital SLR camera in conjunction with the XYN Spatial capture solution (Prototype) *.

In this exhibit, the Global Shutter of the α9 III is combined with cross-polarized light photography to capture high-speed, high-quality images of objects, and the XYN Spatial capture solution (Prototype), a mobile application that supports the capture of images, is used to improve the efficiency of the entire capture process. Together, these technologies enable the effective creation of high-quality, production-ready 3DCG assets.

■What is XYN Spatial capture solution(Prototype)?
XYN Spatial capture solution(Prototype) will convert high-quality, photorealistic 3D CG assets from real-world objects and spaces using images captured by mirrorless cameras and proprietary algorithms. Additionally, a prototype for a mobile application that visualizes the shooting conditions of the mirrorless camera in real-time is also under development. This will streamline the 3D CG production workflow for films, games, virtual production, and the metaverse for objects such as props, items, and spatial backgrounds.
