Operations of Tween

Tween is an automatic in-between motion generation function. It naturally connects the movement between two motion data.
Tween between two motions

- Have two motions on the timeline.
- Set the desired position/orientation of the avatar for each motion in the Work area.
- Adjust the number of generated frames between the two motions so that it falls within the recommended range. (See the reference section for the recommended frame count.)
- Left click on both motions to highlight them.
- Press the [Tween] button.
- Review the Tween result. If desired, adjust the number of generated frames or the distance between the motions.
Note
To improve Tween accuracy, three status levels are defined based on the number of generated frames and the distance between motions.
1. Tween recommended*
2. Tween possible
2-1. Tween possible: The number of generated frames is too large relative to the distance between motions.
2-2. Tween possible: The distance between motion is too large relative to the number of generated frames
3. Tween not possible (1 frame or 180 frames or more)
*The display of “Tween Recommended” does not guarantee that the expected tween results will be achieved.
Tips
- The number shown in the rectangle is the distance between motions and can be manually for precise spacing.
- Tween is possible if only two motions are selected and the distance between them is within the frame limit above.

Tweening Effectively

- When creating a tween, it is best if the in & out frames are action frames. This helps the blending process.
- The Tween process is non-destructive, and users can undo up to 20 actions.
- Export the completed animation before undoing to save the result before performing the Tween again.
