Q. What are Tokens?

A. Tokens are a digital usage unit shared across XYN services. They are consumed when you generate 3DCG assets with XYN Spatial Scan, for example.

What Tokens are used for

Currently, Tokens can be used only for generation.

Tokens required for generation

The number of Tokens required depends on what you generate and your settings. It mainly varies with the following:

Q. How long are Tokens valid?

A. Tokens are valid for six months from the date they are granted.

When subscription Tokens are granted

Tokens included with a subscription plan are granted in a single allocation on the purchase date, and again on each renewal date.

Order of consumption

Tokens with the earliest expiration date are consumed first.

Q. Are Tokens returned if generation fails?

A. Yes. If generation fails, the Tokens reserved for that job are returned.

When Tokens are consumed

When generation starts, the required Tokens are reserved. The charge is finalized when generation completes successfully.

When returned Tokens can't be used

If returned Tokens have already passed their expiration date, they expire and can't be used.

Q. Can I purchase additional Tokens?

A. Yes. You can purchase as many additional Tokens as you need. Additional Tokens are not a subscription plan.

Where to purchase

You can purchase additional Tokens at any time from the Token tab in your XYN account management screen.

Validity of additional Tokens

Additional Tokens are also valid for six months from the date they are granted. Tokens with the earliest expiration date are consumed first.

If you don't have enough Tokens

You can't start generation without enough Tokens. Purchase additional Tokens to continue.

Q. Can I check my Token balance and usage history?

A. Yes. On your account page, you can view your available Token balance, Token grants, and usage history.
