We would like to inform you that the "Capture function" currently included in the XYN Motion Studio app will be separated and consolidated into the mocopi PC app. This change is scheduled for October 1, 2026 (JST).
Changes
The Capture function currently included in the XYN Motion Studio app will be separated and made available exclusively through the mocopi PC app. Following this change, the XYN Motion Studio app will be configured specifically for the Editor and Cloud data management features.
This change is being implemented for the following purposes:

To optimize the functional configuration and price structure according to the purpose of use

Improved quality and faster development of the Capture function through dedicated resources
As a result of this separation, the licensing cost of the XYN Motion Studio app (Editor and Cloud features only) will change as follows:

When paying by subscription
Before separation: $8.99 per month
After separation: $4.49 per month -
When paying with an Activation Code
Before separation: $107.88 per year
After separation: $53.88 per yea
Important: If you wish to continue using both the Editor/Cloud features and the Capture function after the separation, you will need to subscribe to both the XYN Motion Studio app and the mocopi PC app. The combined cost for subscription users would be $8.98 per month ($4.49 + $4.49), or $107.76 per year for Activation Code users ($53.88 + $53.88).
For customers using the Capture function
If you want to continue using the Capture function after the separation, you will need to subscribe to the mocopi PC app separately. The mocopi PC app subscription is $4.49 per month, or $53.88 per year with an Activation Code.
If you have questions about your Activation Code or subscription following this change, please contact Sony Customer Service to discuss your options.
Customers who already use a license
If you have already used the XYN Motion Studio app license (1 year) with an Activation Code, you can continue to use the Capture function in the mocopi PC app by entering the same Activation Code into the mocopi PC app.
*You can also find the XYN Motion Studio Activation Code on the card with the Activation Code included, or from the app's "Settings" > "Payment Information".
Future schedule
This function separation is scheduled for October 1, 2026 (JST). The confirmed date will be announced on the XYN announcement page at least 30 days before implementation.
Note for customers who have not activated the Activation Code for the XYN Motion Studio app
If you have already purchased an Activation Code for the XYN Motion Studio app and have not yet activated it, the code may not be successfully activated in the mocopi PC app after the separation.
Therefore, we ask that you do one of the following.

Activate your code in the XYN Motion Studio app before the separation takes effect, OR
Contact Sony Customer Service before the separation. If you purchased your Activation Code before the separation (planned for October 1, 2026 (JST).) and have not activated it, we will provide you with access to the Capture function at no additional cost.
