We will continue to add and update content over time.
Can applications created with plugins from SDK version 2.x or earlier run when the ELF-MN1 is connected?
Applications created using plugins from SDK version 2.x or earlier cannot run on the ELF-MN1. To run them on the ELF-MN1, rebuild them using the SDK 3.x plugins.
No image is displayed when I connect my smartphone to the ELF-MN1.
Your smartphone must support video output via a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Please refer to the smartphone specifications required for playback.
The image appears in portrait orientation when I connect my smartphone to the ELF-MN1.
If the connected smartphone does not support 4K video output, the image may appear in portrait orientation. Launching an application compatible with the ELF-MN1 will display 3D images at the correct aspect ratio.
How can I connect the ELF-MN1 to a PC that does not have a USB Type-C port?
We recommend using a PC equipped with a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode to connect to the ELF-MN1. If your PC does not have a USB Type-C port, or if its USB Type-C port does not support DisplayPort Alternate Mode, you can display images using a dedicated cable that converts USB Type-A and DisplayPort connections to USB Type-C. Connect the cable’s USB Type-A and DisplayPort connectors to your PC, and its USB Type-C connector to the ELF-MN1.
